UMB-1 (UPS Monitoring Board)

UMB (UPS Monitoring Board) is a board which can be installed on a slot of an IBM-PC (or compatible) as a server of a Netware™ LAN system.
If the UMB is connected to ELSA intelligent UPS (which has UMB interface) and the Netware™ UPS Monitoring Software Module is activated, the ELSA UPS can communicate to the server if power line is off or the battery energy is low.
It broadcast warning to all workstation and then closes the files automatically before the UPS shutdown due to battery low condition. It's prevent the possibility permanent damage of the files inside the server.
